- On Saturday, November 15 Green Flash is celebrating there 6th Anniversary in Vista, CA. You can see lots of information on the fliers in the pub or you can just go here -> http://greenflashbrew.com/2008celebration.html! Brewery Tours of San Diego is setting up a shuttle to the Green Flash Anniversary Party. I believe they are making 2 stops. First pickup at Hamiltons at 11am, and then O’briens at 11:30am. They are leaving the Party at 4pm. The cost is $20 per person for the ride. All the details are at

He’s got incredible array of IPA and IIPA from Port, Alpine and Russian River even better a rare keg of Alpine’s sour gem Ichabod..
SAN DIEGO BREWERS GUILD MEMBER’S TAKE 13 MEDALS AT THE 2008 GREAT AMERICAN BEER FESTIVAL
Here is a couple links that you should care about!
- Sianara Foosball. Well we’ve been working feeverishly on a small
expansion. In order to accomodate our new 3 door bottle cooler we had to
extend the bar down and make a few rearrangements. It’s a Work In Progress
(WIP) so expect to see more coming down the pipeline like maybe another
tv, moving the cask engines, adding 2 more dedicated tap’s, a dedicate
cider engine, etc etc as of friday we should be alot better off and we
love our foosball but it had to go the pub side is really coming into it’s
own and thanks to Willy Cornbread and The Hammer for the hard work. I fear
Dennis may pass out of exhaustion soon so Ill have to keep bribing him
with Shrimp Ceviche and aged tequila to drudge forward!
- Im a Livewire! - Congratulations to our friends at the Livewire. A San Diego Staple pretty much thru my whole youth as a seasoned veteran since 1995 for me. The livewire has always delivered Great Beer and was the first for me at least destinations for ROCK and BEER. Ahead of it’s time (JOHN COURAGE!?) over the years we’ve seen the offerings of frito boats, Bands, Stiff Drinks, killer Jukebox Jams, Metal DJ’s and blurry eyed nights. The guys celebrate 16 years -> WTF.. Congratulations to them and frankly an inspiration to me even to this day although I have to avoid the thadeuss effect..
CHEERS GUYS!
the weekend of October 24th, 25th and 26th is Obrien’s annual wet hop festival and it is arguably one of the best events i look forward to every year.
Davey formerly of Liar’s Club and of legendary San Diego Rock band Tiltwheel is now heading up the cafe. Dennis and I sat down with Davey and we’ve went over the menu and started adding some flare. The new Cheese Soup is OFF the charts! Expect by next wekeend to see things like the Witchfire Grilled Cheese, Vegan Bahn Mi Sammie and just a general improvement in ALL of the food and the service coming from the cafe!
Following the EPic Pizza Port 2nd Saturday with an Epic Anniversary Party has left myself and my senior leadership utterly on Empty. There has been alot of changes with the bar this year and frankly all for the better of our cause. Im going to take my staff (who isnt working) to the San Diego Brewers Guild Festival and give November to regroup before we close out the year in December with the San Diego BrewCo and a WHOLE ROASTED PIG in December. We’re sorry but come visit us at the Guild Fest night of!
It appears as if this is the last week of Hamilton’s Free Foosball. We need space to expand to another 150 bottles and a cider engine and another TV and we have to sacrifice the foosball. We are as sad as you but it’s something that will benefit the bar and patrons and shuffleboard and pool WILL NEVER go away.
